The Wedding of Laura and Paul

Laura is a very organised lady and wanted to arrange the majority of her wedding herself, but also wanted to be able to enjoy her special day and not worry about the finite details. Through recommendation from a friend, Laura asked Metropolis to help her, initially with planning the tasks to be done, and later to visit Cutlers Hall in Sheffield to ensure all the logistics of the wedding ceremony and reception were worked out ahead of the wedding day itself.

The Wedding of Nemone and Pete

Nemone and Pete wanted to be very involved in their own wedding plans but without having to do it all.

I chose a local hall in the village of Saltaire for their reception, which needed to have the facilities of a hall for reception drinks and dancing later, a wedding reception room, a hot buffet serving area and, very importantly, a play creche for the 20 or so little people that were also special guests! This was very much a family gathering.

The Wedding of Jane and Glenn

Jane and Glenn had most of their wedding arrangements in place but five weeks from the big day, asked if Metropolis would take the reins to pull everything together for them at their reception venue, the local village hall in Collingham. They wanted the decor of the hall and tables to remind them of the round the world trip experience that they had shared, especially Thailand where Glenn had proposed to Jane.
